Consent When Tagging Group Pics
Check in with your friends and community when tagging group pics. Here's what that sounds like:
"Hey, is everyone comfortable being featured on The #QPOCshoutouts Project? It's a Queer People of Color project on Instagram. It's very public. The photo may be shared on the website and other social media sites as well."
Or, you can tell your friends about The #QPOCshoutouts Project first, then ask who wants to be in a group photo for it.
NOTE: Please include the @names of everyone in the pic in your comment, if it isn't clear. Gotta make sure they get a shoutout too!
This Project Is Hella Public
When you tag @qpoc and #QPOCshoutouts, you understand that your photo may be featured on the instagram page, streamed to this website, shared on social media platforms like Twitter. Facebook, tumblr, and more.
